Donna Murch, Associate Professor of History at Rutgers University, is the author of Living for the City: Migration, Education, and the Rise of the Black Panther Party in Oakland and the forthcoming Assata Taught Me: State Violence, Mass Incarceration, and the Movement for Black Lives.

Samuel Moyn is Henry R. Luce Professor of Jurisprudence at Yale Law School and professor of history at Yale University.
